2009: Got this on Booksale.
It has a dedication at the first page, written in silver ink. It was given to someone on Valentines day on year 1984. “With all love and Magic,” it says. I paid for it instantly.
When I browsed it at home, I did a double take on the cover and wondered why I bought it in the first place? It’s cheap. It’s colored. It’s glossy. It has personal history in it. But as I passed each pages, everything inside it is dark and filled with images, codes and poems that seemed… Not right. College classmates and a professor advised me to get rid of it. About one or two years later, I did. I burned it. ๐ฅ

COCAMIA | ink & acrylic
on Hahnemรผle Aquarelle 425gsm
Big teased hair, thick brows, blush & tattoo.
This painting is supposed to be for @alvene (she gave me two frames and asked me to paint anything on it, ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING, so I did this) BUT! Unfortunately, I may have made the hair a little too big, that it doesnโt fit the frame anymore ๐๐ญ Ahahaha, so, blah. Iโll just make another one. I think she prefers colorful pieces anyway. So Iโll keep this one. Or perhaps, sell it. ๐

Acrylic + watercolor splash experiment. Cropped portion of the painting I did for a fashion related thing (*secret project TPV*) that didn’t quite pushed through. I’m satisfied on how it turned out, anyway. Very spontaneous and free flowing of colors. I haven’t done any serious beauty/fashion-related paintings or illustrations before, so this might be a good start! :)
